Axolotl Together
Before you build a family, understand what you're carrying together.
Most carriers are healthy. Reproductive risk can become relevant when two partners carry variants associated with the same inherited condition.
Try it: both partners must consent

Couple Analysis
Waiting for both partners to consent
Turn either switch off again and the analysis locks: each partner's consent is independent and can be withdrawn.
Privacy by design
Two genomes. Two owners.
Two private genomes. Independent consent. One shared analysis focused on relevant inherited risk.
Each partner creates their own account
Two separate Axolotl accounts, two separate Genome Vaults. Nobody sets up or controls the other person's genome.
Each partner gives independent consent
The couple analysis only runs when both people agree, and either can withdraw that consent later.
Neither receives the other's genome
Your partner never gets your complete genomic data, and you never get theirs.
Only relevant results are shared
What you see together is limited to the couple-analysis findings relevant to planning a family.
- 1
Two private genomes
Each partner sequences or imports their own genome into their own account.
- 2
Two separate consents
Each partner independently agrees to a couple analysis focused on relevant inherited risk.
- 3
One shared analysis
Only findings relevant to both of you are shared, with a genetics professional available to explain them.

Couple Analysis
What Ananya and Arjun would see together once both have consented. Each partner's individual findings stay in their own account.
0
Shared recessive-condition matches
No condition found where both partners carry a relevant variant, among the conditions analysed.
12
Individual carrier findings reviewed
Reviewed inside each partner's own genome. Details stay private to that partner.
0
X-linked findings requiring review
No X-linked findings that need follow-up in this example.

Recommended before final interpretation.
What "0 shared matches" means
No condition was found, among those analysed, where both partners carry a relevant variant. That lowers reproductive risk for those conditions but does not remove it: no analysis covers every condition or every type of variant. A genetic counsellor explains what was and wasn't covered before any conclusion is drawn.
Reproductive Genetics review

Some findings matter to relatives too.
See how selected genetic findings may run through your family, and choose who to tell.
When a finding may be shared by blood relatives, Axolotl is designed to help you pass on that one specific result, with context, to the relatives you choose. Nobody is added automatically.
- You decide which finding to share and with whom.
- Each relative keeps their own account, genome and consent.
- Family features are for adults who choose to take part.
- A counsellor can help plan how to have the conversation.

Axolotl Together is an early concept. Ananya and Arjun are fictional and every result shown is synthetic. It is not a diagnostic or medical service, and it does not offer prenatal or embryo testing.
